It's plausible, though not certain, that the term may once have been used at this point in the endowment, since Adam could indeed be understood as calling for God's help. On the other hand, it's possible that an informant for this exposé who was familiar with Masonry used the term when describing this part of the ceremony, thus giving the incorrect impression that the term was used during the endowment itself.
